Solar Carport and EV Charging Project for Nikola Corporation
Coolidge, AZ, August 23, 2022 – TELESIS SOLAR LLC alongside ENERFORM SOLAR SOLUTIONS LLC has announced that they have successfully completed Phase One of a solar carport project in Coolidge, Arizona. NIKOLA CORPORATION (Nasdaq: NKLA), already known for pioneering clean energy initiatives, has installed a 743 kW solar carport over their parking lot at their manufacturing facility in Coolidge, Arizona, 50 miles south of their Phoenix headquarters.
In addition to producing over 1.2 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, the solar canopies will provide shade for parked cars, as well as nighttime illumination for increased security and safety. Also, nine EV Chargers have been installed for the benefit of both employees and visitors.
